Nap Denied and Rehearsal Dinner.

Friday, June 29th, 2007 by Susan

So Cem wants me to post about how I was denied my nap today even though I was the one who seemed most sleepy. Both Dan and Rhonda got to take a nice nap, however I went to get my nails done and had to shower to get ready to go to the rehearsal [...]

Uncle Roy’s Funeral

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007 by Susan

Yesterday was Uncle Roy’s funeral at the Sunset Lawn Cemetary in Sacramento. It was a quiet service with about 60-70 people. Auntie Marie, while tearful, seemed much more at peace and seemed less stressed than she has been the last 5 months. While it is sad that he passed away, I think [...]

Gastroenteritis.

Monday, June 25th, 2007 by Susan

Yeah, I’m sick with gastroenteritis for the 2nd time in recent memory. I was feeling fine at work on Sunday except that I was having diarrhea but, hey, no big deal. Then towards the end of my shift, I started to feel nauseous and then about 30 minutes later, I had the pleasure [...]

Doh!

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007 by Susan

What I’m Playing Now…

Monday, June 18th, 2007 by Susan

“Big Brain Academy, Wii Degree.” Not a very complicated game but still a little addicting. You do a bunch of activities that require a little more thinking than the usual video games. For example, they show four pictures, which one of them is different and doesn’t belong? You have several blocks [...]

Happy Birthday Henrik!

Sunday, June 17th, 2007 by Susan

So I’m sitting here at Henrik and Andrea’s house in Sunnyvale, typing away on their couch. Dan Lew, Dan and Henrik are talking about the food at the Coffehouse at the MU at UC Davis. Brings back a lot of memories about the Coffeehouse quesedilla, clam chowder and chicken tetrazzini. Dan and [...]

One More Shift.

Friday, June 15th, 2007 by Susan

Today is my last shift in my block of three in a row. Three in a row is not bad and I try not to do more than four in a row since I usually end up working about 11 to 12 hours per shift (although every now and then, I do get off [...]
